I received a letter today that LG will no longer continue some of their cloud offerings which I assume is due to a combination of older services, lack of use, and cost outweighing the service itself.  Below is the email that we received today.

Personal Information and
Data Deletion

* If you are using LG Cloud’s automatic upload function, please check your auto-sync folders and proceed to back up the data.
* From the service end date to December 31st, 2015, you will be able to back up your LG Cloud files via the backup site and PC app. (new file uploads will not be supported)
* Files uploaded via a discontinuing service will be deleted after January 4th, 2016, and your LG Cloud service subscription will be canceled.
* If you are using a continuing service, your personal information and files uploaded via those services will remain unaffected.

Please feel free to leave comments below to let us know what you think about LG leaving behind some of their cloud services.  I personally like the LG SmartWorld on LG televisions.  There’s a wide selection of apps and uses for LG in comparison to some Vizio and Sony televisions.
