Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 5, 2026
This policy covers smartwaredesign.com, operated by Smartware Design LLC (“we”, “us”). Our mobile apps have their own policies, linked at the bottom of this page.
Information we collect
- Information you send us. If you email us, book a call or submit our project intake form, we receive the details you provide, such as your name, email address, phone number, project description and any files you attach. We use them only to respond to you and to provide our services.
- Project intake form. The form on our contact page is hosted by FormRobin and protected by Google reCAPTCHA, which are subject to their own privacy policies.
- Website analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this site. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as the pages you view, how you arrived at the site, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), your device, browser and operating system, and actions like clicking our “book a call”, email or phone links or submitting the project intake form. We use this data in aggregate to improve the site. We have turned off Google signals and ad personalization, and we do not use the data for advertising or sell it. See How Google uses data from sites that use its services. Your choice. If you visit from outside the United States, analytics cookies are not set until you click “Accept” on the banner. Visitors in the United States are counted by default. Anyone can change their mind at any time with the “Cookie settings” link in the footer, which lets you accept or decline. You can also opt out with the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser. To pick the right default, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) tells us the country your request comes from; we don’t store it.
- Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard request logs (IP address, browser and time) for security and reliability.
How we share information
We don’t sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run this site (hosting, email, scheduling, forms, analytics), and only as needed for them to provide that service, or when required by law.
Your choices
You can ask us to access, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing michael@smartwaredesign.com.
