Have you had recent trouble using your external Seagate Plus Hard Drive after installing the latest update to Mac OSX (El Capitan)? The dreaded “Read Only” label appears below Sharing & Permissions on your info tab in Finder? If so, you can download the latest Seagate driver and it should fix all of your problems and make your NTFS Drive writeable again on your Mac (so you can use it both on your PC and Mac) without having to install additional third party software (Paragon, MacFUSE, Fuse for OSX, etc.). Just a helpful tip if you’ve experienced trouble using your previously working external drive as we did.
